Transparency

No mystery. No spin.

How AffiliateFlows AI makes money, how our AI decides what to recommend, and the exact lines we refuse to cross.

01.

How we make money

AffiliateFlows AI has three revenue lines. They are the only three. We do not take payment for editorial coverage, do not run banner ads, and do not sell user data.

  • Affiliate commissions
    Revenue

When a shopper buys through a tracked link on our platform or from a creator, we may earn a share of the sale from the merchant. The shopper never pays more.

  • Brand subscriptions
    Revenue

Brands pay to run performance campaigns on AffiliateFlows — with unified attribution, vetted creators, and automated payouts.

  • Creator memberships (optional)
    Revenue

Creators can subscribe to unlock advanced analytics, priority payouts, and AI credits. All core creator tools remain free forever.

02.

How the AI recommends products

Every recommendation comes from a large language model reasoning over publicly known 2026 product knowledge, plus the specific inputs you give the tool (goal, budget, experience, use case). The AI is instructed to be unbiased and to include tools we do not have any commercial relationship with when they are the best fit.

No paid placement

Products are never boosted for money.

Real fit scoring

Scores reflect user inputs, not commission size.

Human review

We audit prompts and outputs monthly.

03.

Affiliate disclosure policy

Any link that could pay us or a creator a commission is labeled — in creator content, on our own pages, and in outbound emails. Creators on the platform agree to a disclosure policy as a condition of joining.

Site-wide disclosure

Some outbound links on AffiliateFlows AI and on creator profiles are affiliate links. If you purchase through them, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. This never influences whether a product appears in the AI Recommender, Should I Buy, or Content Ideas tools.

04.

Income & ROI calculator methodology

Both the creator Income Calculator and the brand ROI Calculator are deterministic — same inputs, same outputs, no AI. Numbers use publicly observable 2026 benchmarks:

  • Average order values are drawn from category norms (AI SaaS ~$120, beauty ~$45, finance ~$200, etc.).
  • Commission rates reflect typical program payouts (SaaS 20–30%, beauty 5–10%, finance 15–25%).
  • Click-through and conversion rates are anchored to reported short-form and creator-commerce benchmarks (CTR 1.5–3.5%, CVR 2–5%).
  • Trust multiplier in the income calc is a logarithmic scaling function of follower count, capped at 1.4x.

Estimates are illustrative and not a guarantee of earnings. Real results vary with audience quality, product-market fit, and offer strength.

05.

What we collect, what we don't

We do
  • Store your account info and creator profile.
  • Track clicks and sales on affiliate links (aggregated).
  • Log AI tool inputs to improve prompts (opt-out available).
We don't
  • Sell or rent your personal data.
  • Run third-party advertising trackers.
  • Read or store your DMs with other users.
06.

Our permanent promises

  • Promise

    No pay-to-rank

Products cannot buy their way into a higher AI Recommender score.

  • Promise

    Disclosure by default

Every affiliate link is labeled — on our site and on creator profiles.

  • Promise

    Honest verdicts

Should I Buy will recommend a competitor, or 'skip', when that's the right call.

  • Promise

    Creator-first payouts

Creators get paid on the same schedule regardless of subscription tier.

Found something we missed?

Transparency only works if you hold us to it. If you see a recommendation you think is biased, a disclosure that's missing, or a claim you want us to back up — tell us. We publish material corrections within seven days.
